Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside

Fabulous 6 night stay at this Disney resort. Beautiful grounds and river flowing past. Handy food Court for breakfast, lunch and dinner with lots of choices. Purchase their refillable mugs for unlimited cold and hot drinks here and at any other resort hotel. Bus depot outside for regular free transport to all the theme parks. Lovely big room with 2 queen beds, nice bathroom, safe, fridge, TV and more. Highly recommended for a quiet respite away from the hectic theme parks. The surrounding landscaped gardens around the 2 storey accommodation blocks are amazing and just gorgeous.

This was a very nice, quiet resort but it’s huge. The rooms were difficult to find and even harder in the dark. The staff were just okay. The people at the front desk were nice but no one else spoke to us and if they did it wasn’t friendly. The beds were comfortable so that was a plus but the rooms are pretty small. We only slept there but with 4 people it was tight. The food was pretty good. Overall everything was fine.

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside for our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Royal Rooms, and they truly felt magical—perfect for a special celebration. The theming was charming without being over-the-top, and the little details made it feel extra special. The resort itself is peaceful and scenic, with gorgeous walking paths and a relaxing atmosphere after long park days. We loved being able to take the boat to Disney Springs, which was both convenient and fun, and the bus transportation to the parks was easy and reliable. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and well done. Port Orleans Riverside struck the perfect balance between Disney magic and calm comfort. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it—especially for anniversaries or special occasions.

We have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again. It's a good price point and I think the best of the moderate priced Disney hotels. Rooms are well-designed and clean, the staff are very friendly, the grounds are well-maintained with a large main pool and other pools closer to the lodge buildings, and bus service was quick and reliable. The food left a bit to be desired but it's decent, and we mostly eat in the parks. Highly recommend Port Orleans Riverside.

Second time staying at this resort and it has been wonderful both times. Rooms super clean and comfortable. Transportation to parks was quick and efficient. Loved the boat option to take guests to Disney Springs. Food in quick serve restaurant was great with plenty of options. I see this resort has some ratings that are not favorable but I have to believe these are written by entitled people that think the world revolves around them. Any issue that has come up for us was quickly resolved by Disney. Not only that, but they go above and beyond to make their guests satisfied. The grounds are simply beautiful and pools are a comfortable degree even in winter. If you are fortunate to stay here, be sure to try their jambalaya. Its awesome!

Absolutely love this place! How it’s still considered a moderate resort is beyond me, because it’s just as good as a deluxe. The location, the scenery, etc. We absolutely love it here. I will say, the rooms are pretty noisy… But otherwise, you can’t go wrong staying here!

Our stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort was pure magic from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and immersive. Transportation to the parks and Disney Springs was seamless and incredibly convenient, making it easy to focus on fun instead of logistics. The food was fantastic—plenty of delicious options that felt special and thoughtfully done. Most of all, the Disney bubble was in full effect: immersive, joyful, and completely stress-free. It truly felt like being wrapped in Disney magic every step of the way. An unforgettable experience we can’t wait to repeat!

Gorgeous tranquil escape which is perfect when you’re trying to relax / escape the magical chaos of the parks. Not theme heavy but classic touches of Disney done beautifully. It is sprawling! Absolutely huge property but there are multiple quiet pools plus the stunning main & the internal bus system is easy to navigate and came by frequently / with extra buses during peak times. The restaurant & boat to Disney springs was also such a bonus. Lovely place to stay especially for couples.
